Problems Logging In?If you are having difficulty accessing your account and are not getting a specific error message from
FWO, then you might be experiencing a cookie problem.
FWO uses Cookies to verify your account to ensure security. Cookies offer greater individual security to all people, especially those who use shared terminals or are behind a firewall or proxy. If you get a Cookies Required error message when you try to log in, follow these steps to get into your account.
If you have disabled Cookies in your Web Browser, you need to change your Web Browser settings to allow for Cookies like the following:
For IE 5.0:
- Click Tools on the top menu bar
- Choose Internet Options; click the Security tab.
- Scroll down to Security and you can customize your Cookie selection.
For IE 4.0:
- Click View on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Choose Internet Options; click the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to Cookies and choose to accept cookies.
For IE 4.0 for Mac:
- Click Edit on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Choose Preferences.
- Scroll down to Cookies and choose to accept cookies.
For IE 3.0:
- Click View on the top menu bar of your browser.
- Choose Internet Options; click the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to Cookies and choose to accept cookies.
For Netscape Navigator 4.0:
- For Netscape Navigator 4.0, click Edit then Preferences.
- Click on Advanced and make your Cookie selection.
For Netscape Navigator 4.0 for the Mac:
- Click Edit on the top menu bar.
- Select Preferences; click Advanced.
- Make your selection.
For Netscape Navigator 3.0 for the Mac:
- Click Options on the top menu bar.
- Select Network Preferences.
- Click the Protocols tab and choose to accept cookies
If your Web Browser is enabled to allow Cookies, you will be presented with an alert box when FWO tries to send you a Cookie. If you reject this alert you will not be able to access your FWO account. If you are using IE the alert box will be a "security alert" and by clicking Yes you will accept the Cookie.
If you are using Netscape you will be asked whether or not to allow the Cookie. By clicking OK you will accept the Cookie and be able to enter your account.
If your Web Browser does not support Cookies then you need to upgrade to a newer Web Browser. Serverart recommends that you use Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, versions 3.0 or higher.
